Starting from Scratch!

Hey Everyone!

Thanks for visiting. In 2001, my Mom was diagnosed with Breast Cancer, when I was 14 years old. Back then, there was not as much awareness for any kind of cancer so I created a webpage " www.expage.com/hopeforbreastcancer" to connect with others around the world - teens with parents that have cancer and parents looking for support, to share stories of sadness and of hope, of faith and of courage.In 2008, " http://www.expage.com/" closed down without a warning and we lost most of the postings on the website. Right before it closed down, we had over 40,000 hits! Unbelieveable! I also received emails daily of stories, poems, quotes and more, including people just looking for comfort and someone to talk to about what they are going through.I would like to re-create this support network and start posting new creativity weekly! Please become a "follower" on this blog to view what other people have sent in, their comments and what I have wrote following my journey of my mom's cancer and life.
