Feedback

"I think it was great that u started a website. It give ppl a chance to share their experience of dealin with any kind of cancer." - Amanda G.

Story #8

My experience with cancer is this. 2 weeks before Christmas 2008 I was told I have a golf ball sized tumor on my right kidney and that it was 2/3 full of cancer. On April 20th of this year I will be having 1/2 of my kidney removed. I am only 42, a mother of 2 and a grandmother of 1. Although my cancer is contained and should be completely cured with the removal of the kidney, the fear of the word still is always on my mind.

"My mom was diagnosed in october of 2007 and had surgery on february 7 2008. she had a very mild case and we were lucky with her situation. she only had a lumpectomy and didnt have to do chemo. she had three weeks of radiation therapy and that was it. for now. even though she did have a bad case it was still very scary and a difficult thing to go through. its nice to know there is a place to go where other people are dealing with the same or very similar things. thanks so much for making this group!
